Victorian illustration to download showing a picture of the Tyburn Turnpike gate into London in about 1820, and travellers on the road – a rider, a coach, a loaded wagon, and a shepherd with his sheep. This was the site of the Tyburn gallows, and the present Marble Arch. The turnpike led into Tyburn Road, now Oxford Street.
