Victorian illustration to download showing a steam locomotive pulling a train of carriages crossing the Ogden Viaduct on the Stubbins to Accrington branch of the East Lancashire Railway. The viaduct, a stone arched construction, spans the River Ogden. A man drives two cows on the river bank. The railway line was constructed in 1848; the engineer was John Shae Perring (1813-69), engineer and explorer, Resident Engineer for the East Lancashire Railway. This viaduct was Grade II listed in 1989.
