Sheep and shepherds in the snow

Victorian illustration to download showing two shepherds and their sheepdog guiding their flock of sheep on a snowy winter day. One shepherd holds a gate open; the other urges the flock from behind along a rutted track. In the background are a farmhouse and a windmill. This scene was engraved from the painting ‘A Winter’s Morning’ by Edward Duncan (1803-82), exhibited at the Society of Painters in Water-Colours in 1854.
