Puffing Billy, Old Steam Locomotive

Victorian illustration to download showing a picture of Puffing Billy, the world’s oldest surviving steam locomotive. Constructed by the engineer William Hedley in 1813-14 for Wylam Colliery, near Newcastle, it is now preserved at the Science Museum, South Kensington, London.
