Old horse ferry, London

Victorian illustration to download showing a picture of the old horse ferry across the Thames, London, in about 1800. Horses and a cart wait on the river bank. The ferry (to which Horseferry Road used to lead) crossed from Westminster to Lambeth until 1862, when Lambeth Bridge was built.
