Luxury London cab: the Curricle Tribus

Victorian illustration to download showing a luxury London cab, the Curricle Tribus, patented by Mr Harvey in the 1840s. Drawn by two horses, it could seat three people, and was ‘handsomely appointed’ with side windows and comfortable upholstery. It is pictured standing outside the Bank of England, designed by Sir John Soane (1753-1837), now demolished and rebuilt.
