Loading military stores on board ship

Victorian illustration to download showing a picture of soldiers and dockers loading military stores on board ship. A crane lowers crates, and boxes, barrels and gun parts wait on the quayside. This scene was sketched in 1855, and the stores were destined for the Crimean War. The boat was being loaded with warm clothing and boots (snow was falling in Sebastopol) and with guns, sabres and cutlasses.
