Kensington underground railway station

Victorian illustration to download showing steam trains in Kensington Station (South Kensington today) on the Metropolitan Railway, the first underground railway in the world. The station, designed by John Fowler, opened in 1868 as part of the Metropolitan Railway’s western extension. One of the walls still stands.
