Gutta percha works: rolling machine

Lumps of purified resin are put into a rolling machine to form sheets; in a wooden tank gutta percha tubes soak and then dry slowly to keep their shape. Gutta percha was widely used in Victorian times for electric cable insulation, water pipes, various vessels for industry, and for furniture and ornaments.
