Brick makers: men, women and children

Victorian illustration to download showing a picture of men, women and children making bricks. A little girl holds a lump of clay, a man tamps clay into a mould to form a brick, and another man sets the bricks on a barrow (he will wheel it to a field and set the bricks out to dry). In the background a horse works a mill which mixes and tempers the clay; a man loads clay into the top of the mill, and a boy collects mixed clay from the bottom.  A large clamp of bricks is being fired. From small woodblock original.
